Ok this is prob just me, but I dont seem to get the check boxes?  And is the real key to troubleshooting packs xml? As this seems to by-pass what I have seen others do to create troubleshooting packs. I always seems to get the error:-
   Argument 'l' requires additional parameters.
   SDMC.EXE: Manifest compilation is complete: 1 error(s), 0 warning(s).
When pressing the run button to run the project. Not sure why, tried previous release same thing?
Would like to know what to do, to get the check-boxes to allow multiple choices.

Thanks for sharing this, really does seem like this can be amazing in lots of ways!

Thank you for your feedback!  You can get the check boxes by setting the SoftwareReset xml attribute "selection type" to multiple as follows:

<

SoftwareReset selectionType = "Multiple" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="Settings.xsd">

The real key to troubleshooting packs in general is PowerShell!  This Starter Pack framework is designed to make it so you don't have to use PowerShell if you don't want to.  We built a way to parse information in the Settings.xml file so the framework can call PowerShell functions to make things happen.  This starter pack functionality is limited to reg changes, file copy/delete and running commands.  We are adding functionality as needed so your thoughts and feedback here are welcome!

If your SDMC error occurs when you try to build the troubleshooting pack, you may not have run the troubleshooting pack designer fix.  It is documented here:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2644923.  Please let us know if this fixes your problem.
